GhostDeck is an offline music player. It does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data.

No network access. The app makes no network connections of any kind. There are no accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting services and no advertising.

Your files stay yours. GhostDeck reads only the audio files, folders and playlists you open or drop onto it, and the artwork embedded in or stored next to them. The app runs in the macOS App Sandbox, so it cannot read anything else. To remember your library between launches it stores security-scoped bookmarks to the folders you chose, on your Mac only.

Settings. Window positions, pixel scale, theme, equalizer settings and the last playlist are saved in the app's own preferences on your Mac.

Now Playing. Track title, artist and artwork are handed to macOS so they can appear in the Now Playing widget and respond to media keys. This stays on your device.

Launch list. If you leave your e-mail address on ghost-deck.app, it is stored on Cloudflare (Workers KV) for one purpose: a single message when GhostDeck is released. It is not shared, not used for anything else, and every message carries a one-click unsubscribe link that deletes the address. Write to the address below to have it removed at any time.

This website. ghost-deck.app uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies and does not fingerprint or identify visitors; it records aggregate page views, referrers and countries only.
